Jelly Match
Nudge a whole row of jellies one step sideways to line three up, and fill the order card before the moves run out. Every drop squashes what it lands on — squash a jelly three times and it collapses into a dead lump that locks its row for good.
Controls
- Touch — hold a jelly and drag its row sideways
- All seven jellies in that row step one place; release past halfway to commit the nudge
- Touch — drag back to where you started and let go
- Cancels the nudge and costs you nothing
- Touch — tap a jelly, then tap the arrow at either end of its row
- Nudges that row one step in the direction of the arrow
- Mouse — hold the left button on a jelly, drag sideways, release
- Same nudge as touch, with the same halfway commit point
- Keyboard — Up and Down, then Left and Right
- Up and Down pick a row, Left and Right nudge it one step
- Keyboard — Enter, Escape, R
- Enter ships a full order, Escape pauses the round, R restarts it
How to play
ObjectiveFill every flavour quota on the order card before your moves run out, then press Ship to send the order out and end the round a winner.
Getting started
- Pick an order card first: Safe hands you two extra moves at a 0.9 score multiplier, Standard plays the level as written, Risky takes two moves away and pays 1.25.
- Read the order strip at the top. It names each flavour you owe and the number still outstanding, and that number is the only thing that ends the round in your favour.
- Scan the tray for a column where two rows already hold the same flavour, then work out which row has to travel to join them.
- Hold a jelly in that row and drag sideways. The match you are about to make lights up before you release, so let go only once it does.
- Let the chain finish. Jellies drop into the gap, anything that lines up on the way down clears as a deeper wave, and the order counts down as it goes.
- Keep an eye on cracked jellies. Clear a line right beside one to press it back out before a third squash turns it into a lump that locks its row.
- When every quota reads zero the Ship button lights up. Shipping is free, so squeeze in one more clear if the tray still has an easy one.
- Press Ship to close the round. The result screen shows your score, stars and deepest chain, and Play again puts you straight back in.
Tips
- Hunt vertical lines, not horizontal ones. A row keeps the same internal order however far you slide it, so the only fresh sideways pairing is at the wrap-around seam — the real work is stacking one flavour in a single column across three rows.
- A nudge that clears nothing is often the strongest move on the tray. Parking the flavour you owe directly above a column that is one step from completing turns your next move into a clear plus whatever falls behind it.
- Clear low rather than high. The wave multiplier climbs 1, 2, 4, 7 and 11, and only a full stack of jellies above the gap can fall far enough to trigger the second and third waves.
- From level 4 onwards, treat a six-row fall as damage, not a bonus. The 8 points come with two levels of squash on that whole column, and a third press collapses it into a lump that locks its row for good.
- Never leave the tray idle. Fifteen seconds without a move melts it: one move disappears from your total and the lowest live row takes a squash it did not have to take.
- Save the Risky card for a level you can already finish with three or four moves spare. It multiplies the whole score by 1.25, including the 250 you bank for each move you never spent.
- Clearing an off-order flavour pays 3 a jelly instead of 30 but still burns a full move, so only take one when it opens the column you actually need.
FAQ
How do I start playing Jelly Match?
Press Continue on the title screen, or open Levels and choose one you have unlocked. You then pick an order card — Safe, Standard or Risky — and the tray is ready for your first nudge. Level 1 gives you 12 moves and one flavour to collect, and teaches the nudge as you go.
Do I need to download Jelly Match or sign up?
No. Jelly Match runs straight in your browser with no download, no install and no account. You can play as a guest from the first level to the last one you have reached, and the current game carries no ads, purchases, paid continues or revive offers.
How do I play Jelly Match on a phone?
Hold any jelly and drag its row left or right with one thumb; the whole row of seven slides with you, and letting go past the halfway mark commits the move. Drag back to the start to cancel for free. The board sits in thumb reach in portrait, and there is no app to install.
Why will my three jellies not clear?
A line only clears when three or more of the same flavour sit next to each other after the nudge is committed, and the preview highlight tells you in advance whether that will happen. If nothing lights up while you drag, the row is not yet in the right place. Remember that sliding a row never rearranges the jellies inside it.
How do I score more points in Jelly Match?
Clear jellies your order actually asks for — those pay 30 each against 3 for anything else — and set the clear up underneath a tall stack so the fall creates extra waves worth 2, 4, 7 and 11 times the base. Then finish with moves to spare: completion pays 2000 and every unspent move adds another 250.
What does it mean when a row will not move?
That row contains a collapsed jelly, and a collapse locks its row for the rest of the round. A jelly collapses after a third squash, which comes from long falls or from letting the tray melt. The lock cannot be undone during that round, so plan with the rows you have left or restart from the pause menu.
How do I stop the tray from getting smothered?
Clear lines beside cracked jellies to press them back out before they take a third squash, because ten collapsed lumps end the round. Avoid dropping columns six rows at a time on levels where collapse is switched on, and keep moving so the fifteen-second melt never fires.
How do I get three stars on a level?
Completing the level gives you the first star; the other two are score lines sitting at 1.3 and 1.9 times the level's par. Unspent moves are the biggest lever at 250 each, so a short, well-planned run beats a long one, and a Risky card multiplies the whole total by 1.25 if you can still fill the order.
Is my Jelly Match progress saved, and does it follow me to another device?
Your levels, stars, skins, settings and Daily Order streak are saved in the browser on the device you played on, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. That means progress does not appear on a second phone or computer, and clearing site data or using a private window can remove or hide it.
Can I play Jelly Match without an internet connection?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, the whole game runs on your device, so you can keep playing with the connection off and your progress is still written locally. The only feature that needs to be online is sharing a score image at the end of a round.
What should I do if Jelly Match will not load or has no sound?
If loading stalls, reload the page and start again — the game needs no live connection once it is open. If it is silent, switch Sound on in Settings, check the device volume and any physical silent switch, and tap the page once so a mobile browser is permitted to begin audio playback.
Is Jelly Match suitable for children?
Yes. Jelly Match is single player with no violence, no chat, no user-submitted content and no way for players to reach each other. Rounds are designed to run about three minutes, the five flavours carry five distinct shapes so lines stay readable without relying on colour, and nothing played is sent off the device.
