Jelly Stack
Hold to squash a swinging jelly, let go to drop it, and balance the tower up to 32 m.
Controls
- Touch — press and hold in the play area below the HUD
- Squash the swinging jelly; a longer hold makes it wider, flatter and steadier
- Touch — lift your finger
- Drop the jelly with its current sideways momentum
- Mouse — hold and release the left button in the play area
- Use the same squash-and-drop control as touch
- Keyboard — hold and release Space or Enter
- Squash while the key is held, then drop when it is released
- Escape, or the Pause button in the HUD
- Pause the run; from there you can resume, restart or end it
How to play
ObjectiveBuild a standing jelly tower to the 32.0 m summit. Accurate drops score more, while a wider, flatter jelly gives the tower more stability.
Getting started
- Choose Start stacking. The first jelly swings above the platform, ready for your first press.
- Watch the landing shadow, then press and hold in the play area to choose how flat the jelly becomes.
- Release before the shadow reaches your target because the jelly keeps moving sideways as it falls.
- Aim near the centre of the block below for more points and consecutive perfect-drop bonuses.
- After each landing, use the plumb line and stability ring to see whether the tower is leaning.
- If the plumb line moves to one side, place the next jelly slightly on the opposite side to bring the weight back.
- Reach 32.0 m with the tower standing to complete a Summit run; a collapse or a third missed jelly ends it early.
- On the result screen, choose Play again to begin another run immediately.
Tips
- Start adding flatter blocks before the tower becomes unstable. A fully squashed jelly is wider but adds only 0.55 m and earns 40% of its normal points, so use that stability deliberately.
- Release a little before the shadow reaches the centre. The jelly carries sideways momentum during its fall, especially while the claw is moving quickly through the middle of its swing.
- Begin a long hold near either end of the swing. The claw is moving more slowly there, which makes a wide jelly easier to place accurately.
- Correct lean instead of copying the position of the block below. If the plumb line drifts left, land slightly right; if it drifts right, land slightly left.
- Build perfect-drop chains on the early layers while the swing is narrow. Later, protect the tower even if a corrective drop breaks the chain.
- Do not wait on the claw for several passes. Its swing keeps widening, and after 4.5 seconds the jelly slips automatically and breaks the chain.
FAQ
How do I start playing Jelly Stack?
Choose Start stacking on the title screen. The first jelly is already swinging above the platform, and your first session begins with a three-drop guide that teaches pressing, holding and reading the plumb line. You can skip the guide at any time.
Do I need to download Jelly Stack or create an account?
No. Jelly Stack runs in the browser with no download or account required. You can start as a guest, and the current game has no in-game ads, purchases, paid continues or revive offers.
How do I control Jelly Stack on a phone or tablet?
Press and hold in the play area below the HUD to squash the jelly, then lift your finger to drop it. There is no swipe, drag or virtual stick. Both portrait and landscape layouts use the same one-thumb control.
What are the keyboard and mouse controls?
With a mouse, hold the left button in the play area and release it to drop. With a keyboard, hold Space or Enter and release the key to drop; press Escape to pause. Gamepads are not supported.
How does scoring work in Jelly Stack?
Drops closer to the centre score more: a perfect landing starts at 100 points, followed by 55, 30 or 18 points for wider errors. Consecutive perfect drops build a multiplier up to ×1.60. Squashing reduces the points for that block, while reaching 32.0 m adds a summit bonus based partly on remaining stability.
Why does my jelly tower keep collapsing?
The tower collapses when its stability margin reaches zero at a lower joint. Watch the plumb line: when it drifts to one side, place the next block slightly on the other side. Add some flatter, wider blocks before the ring gets low instead of stacking only tall blocks.
What counts as a missed jelly, and how many misses are allowed?
A jelly counts as missed when it fails to overlap the tower or lands with too little support and slides away. Misses remain for the whole run, and the third miss ends it. The miss lamps in the HUD show how many have been used.
How do I unlock Skyladder mode?
Climb a total of 150 m across all runs to unlock Skyladder. Every successfully stacked metre contributes, including metres from runs that later collapse. Skyladder has no summit line and ranks the run by tower height rather than Summit score.
Is my Jelly Stack progress saved across devices?
Progress is saved only in the current browser on the current device. Your best score, total metres and unlocked looks do not move to another device or browser. Clearing site data or using a private window can remove or hide that local progress.
What should I do if Jelly Stack will not load or has no sound?
If loading stalls, wait briefly, reload the page and use Retry if the error screen appears. If the game is silent, turn on Sound in Settings, check the device volume or silent switch, and tap the page once so a mobile browser can enable audio.
